Travel Experience

As an English major, I floated around in the job world – copyeditor, proofreader, newsletter editor, grant writer, legal assistant, and various admin positions. It wasn’tuntil I realized that all my friends wanted to join me on my trips that I finally found my career in travel, where I’ve remained for nearly 30 years.

I credit my editor’s background for being a stickler for details. I meticulously plan every client’s trip as if it were my own and have a penchant for matching clients tothe perfect accommodation. While I love the new challenges and opportunities I come across everyday, one of the most rewarding aspects of my career is having clients stay with me for 20+ years. I’ve been fortunate to have traveled many places from Southeast Asia to Europe and everywhere in between, but one of my favorites has been South Africa, planned by Travel Edge’s own Judy Udwin. That’s a trip that stays with you for life.
